Joe Auckland: Final Font/ Crit
The feedback I received for my final A2 poster and small name badge were incredibly positive. Several comments were made that my font created as a whole was successful because people felt that it expressed Joe's personality, a number of his friends also confirmed this and said that I successfully represented certain attributes of his personality clearly. However I feel as though my digital versions of these letterforms would be more successful due to the idea of it being clean cut and structured. Another comment was made that I should of made the solid black section of the letterform the same height on all, however I did explain that through development I changed each letterform until it aesthetically looked better, rather than fitting as a whole set.
I also found that through putting my type into use, it is incredibly readable when printed smaller as well as legible when printed bigger.
