OUGD404: Type Journal

"Ad agency Grey and stationery brand Ryman have launched a free font which they claim could considerably reduce global ink consumption if adopted worldwide."

This serif font works as a range of different point sizes and appears as a normal serif font even in small sizes. However the said differences are that it could reduce the amount of ink used within the print industry. It has quite a decorative and feminine appearance which perhaps some companies may not want to adopt and prefer their corporate looking fonts. This font uses the least amount of ink for the font to be readable and personally I think it works really well as body copy.
