When I first looked at this text it reminded me of wood bock type however I can see that there are some subtle serif's within the type so therefore perhaps this doesn't portray the origin of wood block type. However it is quite bold especially shown in uppercase too. The use of gold to outline the type also reminds me of hand painted signs I have been seeing.
