Throughout the chapter introductions and also on the front cover the use of handwriting as a form of typography is used. I have seen sable origin type used within romantic books due to the idea of the work being personal. Which of course handwriting links to the idea of a human rather than computer generated font. However also on the cover is "Bridget Jones" which is is an uppercase sans serif font, this stands out first on the page. As this book is a series and this is the third- the title is incredibly important and therefore needs to stand out and be read first.
