Hilda and The Black Hound- Luke Pearson, Nobrow Press.
Even though this type is uppercase and appears to be hand rendered (or similar to handwriting) I found this type really easy to read because it seems almost natural. The counters on Luke Pearson's lettering are large and therefore simple to read for children too due to the amount of negative space. The amount of copy in a comic is small and therefore uppercase is quite easy to read and therefore can be used affectively.
