I really love this idea and think if I had more time to complete this brief it could look visually appealing with the important words cut out at the front and the using tracing paper or something similar to create layered separations.
The use of different colours/tones within this leaflet makes it seem less flat and definitely makes it more visually appealing due to its different colours. Using different tones within my piece could really distinguish between the different sections and create a sense of order and formality.
I really like this image as it reminds me of a present or an envelope that has been opened to reveal what is inside and I think I am going to have a look at how I could develop this idea to fit my own brief. However the rectangular sides could also be triangles and therefore meet in the centre equally.

I quite like the amount of folds that form into a pyramid within this design however these complicated designs are quite delicate and would be difficult to print onto and fold with the limited time available for this brief.
This design is also similar to the above and I quite like the angular aspect of the design however the amount of small folds i think would make the design quite difficult to keep together as the paper might not keep together when folded into a triangle without a band across.
I really love the aesthetic of this piece as the corners which are folded into the middle invite the viewer to open it. I think from looking at the design above for the "grand opening" I will think about creating a design which seems to 'pop' open somewhat like a present or envelope.

Louis Vuitton's embossed invitation is incredibly fancy and decorative which definitely matches the designer brand and conveys an expensive aura. The patterns are also quite feminine and the embossed looks considered and beautiful which is something I really would quite like to look into as I have not learnt how to emboss yet. I love the feminine patterns and perhaps I could consider this in my own design as the brief is to create something for myself.
