Throughout the summer brief I focused on researching a broad range of different images and information along with visits and interviews. When creating my presentation and talking to others I have found a way to focus my research into a way which is more capable and viable. I initially thought about creating a website which would promote the work of the charities I have looked at or show the history of how horses have helped within history, however I think I am more passionate about people understanding the correct care and being progressive about the current equine crisis.
Purpose:
To inform people about the basic fundamental elements of horse care and stable management.
Target Audience:
My target audience will be anyone who is fond of animals and wants to learn more information or people who take horse riding lessons and want to expand their knowledge.
Tone of Voice:
The tone of voice will be educational and informative but not done in a serious tone of voice because is will make the content appear boring and my intention is for the information to be read and understood as a reliable source of information which is also beautiful to look at and therefore intriguing.
What the will Audience Gain:
They will gain knowledge about basic horse care that they can then apply to their own life and become more interested in horses beyond lessons and inspire them to want to research more themselves.
Therefore the website serves as a platform to encourage
people to become more interested and research for
themselves. I want to use mainly imagery as websites and textbooks usually contain large amounts of text which do not capture the attention and can seem quite intimidating.
