Through looking at my own research for web design I have begun thinking about how the basic structure of the website would work from the homepage. I have drawn out a few ideas of composition and layout of where the links would fit and some with more boxes for information than others. I think it will be easier to understand when I actually start to experiment with the content itself and not just the idea of where it could be placed. I also drew a few ideas of whether the link bar could be the shape of a horse jumping pole or perhaps as plagues seen on stable doors which could be considered as skeuomorphism rather than flat design. This project demands a certain element of a rustic aesthetic and a personal tone of voice which should also be portrayed through the visuals.
