From presenting my summer work in a previous session today was an opportunity to discuss my ideas on the purpose and function of the website I want to create. I seemed to receive a large amount of positive feedback about the overall feel the website I want to create. It was agreed that it could be really useful for people who are interested in animals but also for people who are thinking about owning a horse themselves.
The information needs to be condensed but I already have small amounts of information that I want to share. I also need to ensure the information is spread over multiple pages and how this could be laid out. Once I have fully decided I need to experiment with the layout of how the content could look on the page in detail.
I also need to consider the content and visuals for the homepage and how this could engage the audience to want to look further into the website. The target audience isn't necessarily the critique group but it was really helpful to hear their opinions and also see what projects they are working on.
To move forward from this critique I need to define my exact content both in imagery and body copy and also experiment with ideas for the visuals of the homepage, this will then in turn allow me to be able to look into how to create more detailed thumbnail drawings .
