OUGD404: Type Journal

When passing through Halifax train Station I noticed the Eureka! type on the side of the building which as a child I never noticed at all. The typeface itself is quite minimalistic due to being lit from neon lighting, this therefore means that the type must have originated from a silicone/digital design because moulding into a light form of type. In terms of how successful it is, it does portray the overall colourful and fun/ childlike element to the actual place as a whole.
