OUGD603: Brief 9- Sketches and design development

Logo development:

From various phone calls we agreed that the logo should be a plain and simple sans serif font this would ensure that the logo was legible but also could also work on various different packaging types.

I initially started with sketches which we then discussed before I turned a few of Natasha's favourite ideas into digital mock ups. We initially thought about using a circle as this would represent the 'sun' within her company name.

This turned into experimentation with looking at how it could resemble a sun dial.

However visually we felt as though the balance of a square and a large sans serif font would look more subtle and allow the packaging to gain attention of the eye rather than the logo.
